Although the investigation into this accident is only in its earliest stages, victims of accidents on the state’s roadways often seek compensatory damages via civil litigation. It is often possible to seek compensation when it is reasonable to allege that negligence contributed to injury or death. When a commercial truck is in an accident, the insurers for a number of parties may become involved, including those for the driver, the truck’s owner and any potential truck leasing company.
