At least one person was injured only weeks ago when semi-truck crashed and caught fire on I-75 southbound near the 39 mile marker in McMinn County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The interstate has been shut down so that LifeForce could airlift the injured. A dispatcher was not able to say how many people were injured, but said that it was a single-vehicle accident.
The accident occurred at about 8:50 p.m.
