Chattanooga, TN: The McMahan Law Firm, a local personal injury firm that fights for the rights of injured Tennessee residents, has chosen the winner for its 2021 scholarship.
About the Scholarship
The McMahan Law Firm is always looking for ways to improve the local community and fights for the rights of Chattanooga residents. The law firm is committed to contributing to society, including helping students achieve their goals for higher education. With this in mind, their team has created a scholarship opportunity to help one student reach their educational goals.
The McMahan Law Firm Scholarship provided one student with $1,000 to apply to tuition or education-related expenses. The scholarship was open to students who have a GPA of 3.0 or better and have been accepted to or are currently attending a two- or four-year college in Tennessee. Participants were asked to write an essay about a cause they’re willing to fight for, and why.
The Scholarship Winner
While the scholarship received many excellent applications, one student stood out with a passionate essay about a cause they are willing to fight for. The winner of the McMahan Law Firm scholarship is Carson Bock. Carson plans to attend The University of Tennessee in the fall to earn a degree in Political Science.
