Attorney Joe Hollis Brings Over 35 Years of Experience to Injury Victims
For more than 3 decades, Attorney Joe Hollis has been standing up for those harmed by the negligence of others. Since 1985, he has handled complex civil litigation involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, trucking accidents, dog bites, wrongful death, and other personal injury claims throughout Tennessee and Georgia.
He is also a Rule 31 General Civil Listed Mediator, certified by the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission—an added asset that enhances his ability to resolve disputes efficiently when trial isn’t the best path forward.
Mr. Hollis earned his law degree from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and brings a rare dual perspective to his personal injury work: prior to joining The McMahan Law Firm, he defended insurance companies in high-stakes claims. That experience gives him valuable insight into how insurers operate—knowledge he now uses to fight for the injured.
His long-standing practice has earned the trust of clients, judges, and peers alike, as he works to hold negligent parties accountable and recover meaningful compensation for those affected.
